Thatch Fire Protection Systems

By combining either the Thatch Fire Board or Thatch Fire Membrane with our Thatchbatts® will ensure that both fire and insulation Building Control regulations are achieved.

Thatch Fire Board System	Thatch Fire Membrane System

Thatch Fire Board System uses a combination of TAS100 Thatch Fireboard, Fire Sealant and Thatchbatts®. This combination produces a system that will meet the current insulation and fire requirements for building control. This system meets the performance criteria of The Dorset Model. More Information	Thatch Fire Membrane System uses a combination of Thatch Firewall and Thatchbatts®. To meet Building Control requirements, this combination is tested to BS476: Part 3: 2004 and CEN/TS 1187:2012, test 4. This more flexible option is more often used on existing roofs, when the timbers are not able to take the rigid boarding system. More Information
