HISTORY OF THATCHING ADVISORY SERVICES LTD

Thatching Advisory Services Ltd was founded in 1974. In its early years it was purely a conventional thatching business with its founder working on the roof every day and attending to administrative matters during the evenings and weekends. Since then, however, it has grown and expanded through dedication, to quality management into a diverse but related range of activities.

As the company grew, it became apparent that there were many areas of the country where thatch owners were inadequately served when work was required on their roofs. Rather than expand the company with all the attendant problems that would bring, it was decided in the early 1980’s to franchise the thatching side of the company. Master Thatchers Ltd was formed in 1980 and the first Master Thatcher Franchisee commenced operation in 1983. (Now TAS Approved Thatchers).

Thatching Advisory Services continue to provide a wide range of services to an expanding client base. Foremost among this range are:
